Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Marcus Hester! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gregory O Malley! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! O Malley doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hester counters with a nice uppercut. O Malley circles away from the clinch attempt.
O Malley closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hester quickly recovers to half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. O Malley prevents Hester from improving his position. O Malley not landing any meaningful shots this time. Hester is looking for a sweep. The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Gregory O Malley. O Malley slips a straight right by Hester.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hester tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. O Malley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Gregory O Malley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. That's four minutes gone in the round. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Hester just misses with a elbow thrown towards O Malley's brow. O Malley drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hester pulls his leg out and moves away.

Hester prevents O Malley from breaking the clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hester takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Hester scores with an uppercut up the middle. Gregory O Malley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hester stalling against the cage.

Gregory O Malley's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
