The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Smith has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Smith there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like Bobby Smith has been cut.
Lother bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Smith's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith closes the distance and clinches up with Lother, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes Lother against the cage but Lother circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tom Lother has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Smith.
Lother tries a head kick but it misses.
Lother throws a monster overhand right that drops Smith! Lother follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
