Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoosier Daddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hoosier Daddy! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones tries to clinch up but Daddy circles away and keeps his distance. Jones has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jones is looking for a takedown. Daddy is looking to break free of the clinch but Jones has double underhooks. Jones avoiding damage as Daddy throws knees to the body.
Daddy tries to work over Jones's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Daddy tries to circle away but Jones has him pinned against the cage. Jones tries for a takedown but Daddy manages to get underhooks.
Jones manages to break the clinch.
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Daddy pinned against the cage. Daddy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daddy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That kick from Jones tenderised Daddy's leg. Daddy is trying to keep his angry face on. Jones looks to land a combination but Daddy avoids it well. Jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Jones landing a few strikes. Daddy looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones trying to control the position but Daddy is working away. Jones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Daddy is trying to control Jones's posture but Jones avoids it. Daddy dodges the ground and pound from Jones. Jones stands up. Daddy tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.
Daddy fails with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Daddy wants to clinch. Jones drives through with a takedown into Daddy's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Daddy wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it. Daddy throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Jones advances position into side control! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Jones stands up and beckons Daddy to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Daddy to the ground. Jones is now in Daddy's guard. Jones controlling from the top position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jones's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Jones decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jones, right into the meat.
Jones lands with a kick to the ribs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jones drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones stands up over Daddy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Jones stays in close to Daddy's body and controls the position. Jones works a leg free and moves into half guard. Daddy tries to kick Jones off but Jones keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Jones dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss. Daddy stuffs the takedown. Daddy clinches up against the cage. Jones breaks from the clinch.
Daddy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away. Daddy shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Daddy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Daddy circles away.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Jones. Jones tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Daddy is breathing heavily. Daddy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jones wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones lands an elbow. Jones decides to stand up, so the ref orders Daddy to his feet. Daddy fails with the takedown. Jones scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Jones decides to stand back up. Jones steps back and let's Daddy get back to his feet. Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Daddy avoids it really well and circles away. Jon Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Daddy circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daddy leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Daddy scores with a hook to the body. Jones takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Daddy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones. Daddy throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease. Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Daddy swivels and escapes. Daddy closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Daddy pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Daddy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard. Jones thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Jones postures up.
Jones looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Daddy is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daddy keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
We're going to have a standup here because Jon Jones wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Jones clinches with his opponent.
Jones drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Daddy gets the underhooks and prevents it.
A short left from Jones. Daddy tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Jones pulls guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Daddy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Daddy has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted. Jon Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Jones dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Daddy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A slapping leg kick lands for Jones.
Daddy swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones. Daddy is looking to clinch. Jones closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Daddy did well to prevent Jones getting side control. Jones controlling the pace. Jones trying to control from half guard but Daddy is working away. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jones slows the pace down in half guard. Jones is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Daddy can do to turn this around? Daddy has hold of Jones's hands but Jones slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Jones looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jones passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Daddy!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones controlling his opponent. Jones looking for a guillotine from mount but Daddy is having none of it. Jones working for a guillotine from mount but Daddy is in no mood to give up. Jones landing shots from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daddy is trying desperately to improve position. Daddy is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Jones looking to control and managing it successfully. Jones putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Jones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Jones with a couple of short strikes. Jones with good strikes from the mount here! Hoosier Daddy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daddy is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jones is in the full mount, landing strikes. Daddy tries to reverse the position but Jones maintains control. Jones with shots to the head and body - Daddy looks very uncomfortable down there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Daddy taking shots to the head. Jones working Daddy over with strikes here.
Daddy is rocked! Daddy tries to improve his position but Jones has taken his back! Jones has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Daddy tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Jones pushes Daddy away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
