The crowd seem to be enjoying Laukkanen's choice of entrance music: The Mutilation of Christ. Jarmo Laukkanen has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Benson Henderson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laukkanen keeps the fight on the outside.
Henderson throws a series of punches but Laukkanen avoids them all with ease.

Laukkanen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Henderson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Laukkanen back to the cage. Henderson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Henderson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Laukkanen circles away quickly and effectively.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Henderson clobbers Laukkanen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Laukkanen throws a head kick that Henderson semi-blocks.
Henderson is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Laukkanen lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Henderson out cold! Henderson is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jarmo Laukkanen!
In his post fight interview, Jarmo Laukkanen started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
