The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rourke bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Peralta's head.
Peralta looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Peralta dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rourke. That did some damage!
Rourke misses with an uppercut.
Rourke lands a slapping body shot.
Rourke with a jab.
Rourke throws a big shot that misses.

Rourke feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Peralta sprawling to the canvas! Peralta rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rourke finish him?!

Peralta is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Peralta tries to get into range but Rourke steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Peralta! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Rourke scores the big KO victory!
