Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Art Vandelay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thom Le Bou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le Bou is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by H.A.M. - Kanye west. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Art Vandelay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thom Le Bou! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Le Bou scores with a hook to the body. Vandelay takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Le Bou tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vandelay was well out of range. Poor timing from Le Bou. Le Bou tries to clinch but Vandelay moves out of range. Vandelay tries to bum rush Le Bou with a series of wild strikes but Le Bou uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A looping hook to the body misses from Vandelay. Le Bou does a little dance to reset his feet. Vandelay throws a sloppy head kick and Le Bou connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Le Bou darts in trying to clinch and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Le Bou uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Le Bou just misses with a punch to the body.

Vandelay fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Le Bou on the side of the head. Vandelay misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Le Bou.
Le Bou loads up on a big right hand but Vandelay slips the punch. Vandelay throws a sloppy head kick and Le Bou moves out of range easily. Le Bou fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Vandelay punishes Le Bou's body with a nice straight punch. Le Bou fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vandelay manages to avoid it.

He's got hold of a leg but Le Bou swivels and escapes. Vandelay throws a leg kick that misses. Vandelay lands with a nice body punch. Vandelay throws a hook but Le Bou avoids it easily. Le Bou is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Vandelay rather than just go for the knockout. Le Bou fails in his attempt to clinch. Le Bou cracks Vandelay with a good jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Le Bou throws a right hand that Vandelay ducks under and follows up with a left that Vandelay also avoids with ease. Vandelay tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Le Bou keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vandelay shoots in but Le Bou avoids the takedown attempt easily. Vandelay misses with an uppercut. Vandelay walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Le Bou checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Le Bou with a body punch. A glancing blow. Vandelay thows a body shot but no joy. Le Bou gets in close and instigates a clinch. Vandelay manages to break the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Vandelay cracks Le Bou with a right hand to the side of the head. Le Bou scores with a jab. Vandelay acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Le Bou ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vandelay moves away. A chopping leg kick lands by Vandelay. Le Bou clobbers Vandelay with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Vandelay takes a shot right to the bread basket. Vandelay tries for a takedown but Le Bou sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Art Vandelay. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vandelay just misses with a punch to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Vandelay moves forwards but Le Bou connects with a nice, crisp jab. Le Bou decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Art Vandelay will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Vandelay manages to get back to half guard. Le Bou wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vandelay keeps working. Vandelay won't allow Le Bou to pass to mount. Le Bou thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Le Bou wants to free his trapped foot but Vandelay is holding on for dear life with his legs. Vandelay wants to improve his position but Le Bou is controlling well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Le Bou is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

and Vandelay counters with a right hand to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Le Bou just misses with a punch to the body.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Vandelay in particular looking to stall. Vandelay is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Vandelay wants to control from the top but Le Bou keeps moving. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Le Bou can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Vandelay controls the pace.
