Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wulfgar The Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kova Tangis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kova Tangis is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wulfgar The Wolf! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kova Tangis! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tangis gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Tangis wants a takedown but no success here.
Tangis gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Tangis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Wolf swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tangis gets to his feet. The Wolf looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! The Wolf throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. The Wolf feints and then cracks Tangis's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tangis down. No joy there for The Wolf, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tangis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Tangis should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. This has been an exciting period of action! The Wolf is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Tangis postures up in The Wolf's guard and throws a big left but The Wolf blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Wolf wants to get back to his feet but Tangis passes into half guard.
Tangis seems to be looking for submissions.
The Wolf tries to kick Tangis off but Tangis keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Tangis stands up and beckons The Wolf to join him on the feet. Wulfgar The Wolf is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The Wolf looking to land some kicks to the body here.
The Wolf throws a nice looking combination but Tangis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Horrible takedown by Tangis or perhaps it was just good defense by The Wolf which made him look bad.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tangis avoids the head kick by The Wolf.
Tangis shoots in and gets a takedown into The Wolf's guard. Tangis controlling from the top position. Tangis slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tangis taking a breather here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Wolf wants to get back to his feet but Tangis is dominant here and he's now got The Wolf's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tangis tightening his grip on The Wolf, looking for the choke. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tangis has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of The Wolf's body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kova Tangis dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
The Wolf defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tangis. Tangis blocks a head kick by The Wolf.
Tangis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but The Wolf circles away quickly and effectively. Tangis closes this distance looking for a takedown but The Wolf circles away. The Wolf tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. The Wolf throws a head kick but Tangis moves out of range.
Tangis moves into the clinch. Tangis prevents The Wolf from breaking the clinch. The Wolf tries to circle away but Tangis has him pinned against the cage. Tangis has picked The Wolf up - he's going for a ride! Tangis dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The Wolf looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kova Tangis has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. The Wolf misses with a jab, cross combination.
The Wolf misses with a head kick.
The Wolf looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. The Wolf lands with a slapping head kick. Tangis moves into the clinch successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tangis pulls guard. Tangis is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. The Wolf wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tangis has him pressed against the cage. A right hand to the body from Tangis.
This has been an exciting period of action! Tangis is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Wulfgar The Wolf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kova Tangis. The Wolf tries to break free but Tangis pushes him back against the cage. Tangis keeps the fight in the clinch, despite The Wolf's efforts to push away. Tangis gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The Wolf is looking to stand up but Tangis isn't so interested in that idea. The Wolf is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Tangis dives into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Wolf tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Tangis controlling from the full mount. Tangis sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! The Wolf is trying to stand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tangis dominating with strikes here. Tangis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The Wolf is trying to stand up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tangis raining down hammerfists from mount. Tangis controlling from the full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kova Tangis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
The Wolf scores with a kick to the midsection. The Wolf takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A head kick misses from The Wolf. Tangis throws a series of punches but The Wolf avoids them all with ease. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tangis is defended easily by The Wolf. The Wolf throws a head kick but Tangis moves out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tangis has The Wolf pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Tangis pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending The Wolf tumbling to the mat - Tangis dives into The Wolf's guard. Tangis trying to control the position from guard on top but The Wolf is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tangis decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on The Wolf, up you get! Some wild striking there from The Wolf.
The Wolf throws a head kick that misses. Kova Tangis is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Wolf scores with a head kick.
Tangis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? The Wolf is fending him off so far but Tangis persists. Nope, The Wolf circles away and we're back to standing. The Wolf scores with a jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tangis rushes The Wolf and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Tangis is trying to trip The Wolf. He has hold of a leg but The Wolf is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Tangis persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Tangis not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Kova Tangis hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. The Wolf's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tangis under the eye. The Wolf misses with a wild combination.
The Wolf swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Tangis. Tangis takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Tangis throws a right and a left that The Wolf avoids nicely. Tangis dives in and scores a takedown into The Wolf's guard. Tangis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Tangis stands and steps away. The Wolf gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

A slapping body kick lands there for The Wolf. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tangis takes a kick to the side of the head. The Wolf throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kova Tangis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from The Wolf misses. Tangis fails to land the takedown. Wulfgar The Wolf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kova Tangis. Tangis fails with a takedown attempt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The Wolf lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by The Wolf. Wulfgar The Wolf has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The Wolf looks to score with a jab to the body but Tangis is just out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wulfgar The Wolf. I think Tangis has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
