Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Sobotta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Coppers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nathan Coppers will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Sobotta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan Coppers! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coppers gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Sobotta thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Coppers is working an open guard so Sobotta takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Coppers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Coppers cracks Sobotta with an open hand slap. Nice shot by Coppers. Coppers throws a quick inside leg kick. Sobotta steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Coppers. Nathan Coppers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sobotta decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sobotta looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Sobotta is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Coppers is just riding it out for now. Sobotta eventually gives up the hold. Sobotta stands up from mount. Strange move. Sobotta fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Coppers to the ground. Sobotta is now in Coppers's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sobotta decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Coppers, up you get!
That's one minute gone in the round. Sobotta closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Coppers to the mat! Coppers manages to get full guard. Coppers trying to keep a closed guard but Sobotta is proving a slippery customer.
Sobotta gets to his feet - Coppers follows without any prompting. Coppers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sobotta moves out of range of the strikes. Sobotta throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Coppers. Sobotta shoots in and bounces Coppers off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Sobotta works a leg free and moves into half guard. Sobotta gets to his feet - back to striking we go! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sobotta scores with a jab to the jaw.

Sobotta looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Sobotta in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Coppers tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sobotta!

A very excited looking Peter Sobotta made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet.
