Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frodo Baggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Revan Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frodo Baggins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Revan Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baggins defending well as Gracie loads up on a big left hand.
Baggins misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Baggins ducks under a wild hook from Gracie.
Baggins shoots for a double leg takedown but Gracie sprawls well. He's pushed Baggins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Baggins closes the distance and clinches up with Gracie, looking for a takedown. Baggins pushes Gracie against the ropes but Gracie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Gracie scores a takedown into full mount!
Gracie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Gracie looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Baggins might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Baggins prevents any damage by holding on tight.
Gracie trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Baggins is trying to stand.

Gracie landing shots from mount.
The referee warns Baggins that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Gracie can't control as he wanted to and Baggins manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gracie thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Gracie drops an elbow to the side of Baggins's head.
Baggins is trying to escape back to his feet but Gracie uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Gracie creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Baggins sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Gracie working the ground and pound.
Baggins takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gracie trying to control the position but Baggins is working away.

Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Gracie grinds an elbow into Baggins's temple.

Baggins gets back to half guard.
Gracie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Baggins with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Gracie prevents Baggins from improving his position.
Gracie throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Baggins to regain full guard.
Gracie working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Baggins's head.
Gracie loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Gracie seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Baggins looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Baggins is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Gracie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Baggins's guard.
Baggins looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Gracie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Baggins sees it coming and defends easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Baggins keeps working.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Baggins is in trouble now - Gracie has advanced to mount!
Gracie postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Baggins looks a forlorn figure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Revan Gracie dominated that round.
That's time! Baggins's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Gracie misses with the combination.
Some wild striking there from Gracie.
Gracie lands a nice looking body shot.

Gracie tries to sprawl but Baggins drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Baggins is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are battling for position here. Gracie manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Baggins throws an elbow that misses. Gracie uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Baggins's guard. Nice move by Gracie!
Baggins looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Gracie slips nicely into half guard.
Gracie missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Baggins has hold of Gracie's hands but Gracie slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Gracie working over Baggins with some ground and pound. Baggins looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Gracie works his foot free and advances to mount.
Baggins keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Gracie goes for an armbar but Baggins turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Baggins.
Baggins with a flurry of punches that miss.

Gracie looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gracie wants to sweep here but Baggins controlling him for the moment.
Baggins throwing strikes but missing.
Gracie trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Gracie looking to hit a scissor sweep but Baggins is one step ahead there.
Baggins looking to sit in guard and control but Gracie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Baggins is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Baggins preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Baggins wants to stand up but Gracie is controlling him.
Gracie cracks Baggins with a solid left hand.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gracie postures up in Baggins's guard and throws a big left but Baggins blocks it.
Gracie is looking to work some ground and pound but Baggins has wrist control.
Gracie keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Baggins's head.
Gracie chips away with some ground and pound.

Baggins uses the ropes to get back to his feet.
Baggins shoots in but no luck this time.
Baggins throws a leg kick but Gracie moved away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Baggins enables Gracie to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Baggins manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Baggins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gracie pushes down on Baggins's leg and manages to get into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Revan Gracie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Gracie looks to land a right hand but Baggins moved out of range.

Gracie tries to keep at a distance but Baggins has taken the fight into the clinch.
Gracie is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.
Baggins drops down looking for an ankle pick but Gracie pulls his leg out and moves away.
Baggins misses with a takedown attempt
and Baggins takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Baggins moves out of range of the strikes.

Baggins shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Gracie scores with a few weak punches.
Revan Gracie has got the better of the ground game so far.

Gracie is looking to improve his position.

Gracie actively working from the bottom here.
Gracie moves into full guard.
Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Baggins trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
Baggins throws an elbow that misses. Gracie uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Baggins's guard. Nice move by Gracie!
Baggins wants to stand but Gracie is controlling the position.
Frodo Baggins has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Gracie wants to control from the top but Baggins keeps moving.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Baggins avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Gracie working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Gracie stopping the sweep attempt from Baggins.

Gracie is working Baggins over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Gracie throws a strike but Baggins rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Revan Gracie is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Baggins drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gracie manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Baggins has Gracie in his guard.
Gracie slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Baggins is looking to reverse the position.
Gracie working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Baggins is trying to buck Gracie off.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Gracie wants to control but Baggins is keeping him busy.
Gracie postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gracie is staying tight to Baggins's torso, preventing him from escaping.

And that's the end of the fight!
Revan Gracie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Gracie winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
