Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greg Harris told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Kennedy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Greg Harris!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kennedy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kennedy looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Harris misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kennedy throws a leg kick which misses Harris's front leg but catches the back leg as Harris tries to avoid it.
Kennedy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kennedy showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kennedy throwing shots but Harris is blocking nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harris moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Kennedy has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Harris to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kennedy is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Harris pulls down on the head and he's put Kennedy to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Greg Harris!
