Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between El Camino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Mellendrez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Camino comes to the cage accompanied by Avicii - Levels in Reverse. Mark Mellendrez is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Camino looking to score a takedown here. Mellendrez is defending well but Camino drives through and ends up in Mellendrez's guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Camino trying to control the position from guard on top but Mellendrez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mellendrez holds on and takes a little breather. Mellendrez throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Mellendrez is controlling Camino's posture. Mellendrez looking for a sweep. Not yet Mellendrez, not yet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Mellendrez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Camino's guard. Mellendrez wants to pass the guard but Camino is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mellendrez engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Camino keeping moving, preventing Mellendrez from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mark Mellendrez. Camino pushes Mellendrez up against the cage in a clinch. Camino creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Mellendrez's defenses.

Mellendrez is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Mellendrez throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Camino blocks it with crossed arms. Camino lands a nice elbow. Camino lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mellendrez backwards. Mellendrez is trying to break the clinch but Camino has him pressed against the cage. Mellendrez tries to circle away but Camino has him pinned against the cage. Camino is stalling here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Camino lands a nice looking body kick. Mellendrez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Camino avoids it really well and circles away. Mellendrez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Mellendrez is looking to stall here but Camino recovers full guard. Mellendrez showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Camino looking for a sweep. Not yet Camino, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mellendrez slips nicely into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mellendrez seems to be looking for submissions.

Camino changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mellendrez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Mellendrez stuck in half guard on the bottom here. Camino tries to stand but Mellendrez is controlling his head. Mark Mellendrez has got the better of the ground game so far. Mellendrez is looking to reverse the position. Camino moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Mellendrez wants to control but Camino postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mellendrez tries to get back to half guard but can't. You can see the frustration on Mellendrez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Mellendrez is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Camino's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Mellendrez wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Camino moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Camino drops Mellendrez with a left right combo! Camino follows him down to the ground into side control.
It looks like Mark Mellendrez has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Camino wants to control but Mellendrez is keeping him busy. Camino decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mellendrez to his feet. Camino closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mellendrez quickly recovers to half guard. Camino is thwarting Mellendrez's attempts to control the position. Camino trying to control the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mellendrez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Camino is working away from the top position though. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mark Mellendrez wasn't active enough on the ground. Camino keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Mark Mellendrez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mellendrez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Camino pinned against the cage. Camino gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Camino keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. El Camino has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Mellendrez. Camino throws a leg kick but Mellendrez sees it coming and moves out of range. El Camino is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mellendrez shoots in looking for a takedown. Camino tries to sprawl out of it but Mellendrez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Camino manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Camino bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mellendrez bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Mellendrez clinches up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
El Camino dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Mark Mellendrez's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Mellendrez works his way to full guard. Good work. Mellendrez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mellendrez doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Camino wants to stand but Mellendrez has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Mellendrez wants to sweep but no luck. Camino postures up.

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Mellendrez is trying is best to control the position here. Mellendrez moves into full guard.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to El Camino. I think Camino has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
