Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hanamichi Sakuragi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ador King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hanamichi Sakuragi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ador King!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuragi shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
King checks a low kick from Sakuragi.
Hanamichi Sakuragi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sakuragi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
King misses with a takedown attempt - Sakuragi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sakuragi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sakuragi throws a right and a left that both miss.
King shoots in but Sakuragi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
King throws a sloppy head kick and Sakuragi moves out of range easily.
Sakuragi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
King tries to close the distance and clinch but Sakuragi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and King counters with a shoot takedown. Sakuragi fights it but they end up in guard.
Sakuragi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
You can see the frustration on Sakuragi's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
King tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sakuragi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten King somewhat.
Sakuragi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from King.
King manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sakuragi on his heels. He'll look to pass Sakuragi's guard now, I'm sure.

King has hold of Sakuragi's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sakuragi manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
