Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Ivanovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack London (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack London! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ivanovich shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in London's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ivanovich with a flurry of punches that miss. London wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Ivanovich pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. London is keeping the position for now. Ivanovich missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. London is pulling down on Ivanovich's head. London stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. London is looking to slow Ivanovich down with leg kicks. Nice cross by London. London bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ivanovich's head. Ivanovich gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ground and pound from London. London keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. London drops an elbow to the side of Ivanovich's head. London is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Ivanovich throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jack London just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ivanovich shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling London to counter with a crisp jab. Ivanovich has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from London finds it's way round the side to connect with Ivanovich's head. Ivanovich with a poor takedown and Ivanovich takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oleg Ivanovich. That's going to take a lot out of him. London scores a takedown into full mount! London tries to control but Ivanovich wriggling away. Jack London has got the better of the ground game so far. London is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Ivanovich tries to reverse the position but London maintains control. Ivanovich is working hard here to advance position. Ivanovich regains half guard.

Ivanovich is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. London wants to control from the top but Ivanovich keeps moving. Ivanovich is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. London taking some punishment here, with Ivanovich in his half guard. Ivanovich working over London with some ground and pound. London looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. London controlling the position for now. Ivanovich lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. London is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

London lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ivanovich! Ivanovich sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. London with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack London showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Ivanovich throws the left hand but London avoids the punch easily. London does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Ivanovich misses with a takedown attempt and London counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by London. Ivanovich doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Ivanovich bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in London's guard. London seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. London controls Ivanovich momentarily but Ivanovich frees himself. Ivanovich has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Ivanovich shoots in and bounces London off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ivanovich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. London swivels though and keeps the full guard. London is controlling Ivanovich's posture. London preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Oleg Ivanovich. I think London has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
