Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitry Boitsoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, UFC - Face the Pain. Boitsoff has chosen My Domination as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitry Boitsoff! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones lands a jab to the head.
It looks like Dmitry Boitsoff has been cut. Good exchange - Jones coming out on top. Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Boitsoff fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jones to the ground. Boitsoff is now in Jones's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Boitsoff trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jones wants to get back to his feet but Boitsoff is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jones not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Boitsoff tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Boitsoff drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick Boitsoff off! Boitsoff jumps back into Jones's guard.

Boitsoff tries for a kimura but Jones is defending well. You can see the frustration on Jones's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Boitsoff is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jones knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Jones is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Boitsoff asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Boitsoff is trying to get an arm triangle but Jones is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Boitsoff wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jones, who protects the arm well. Boitsoff trying to control the position but Jones is working away. Boitsoff prevents Jones from escaping the position. Boitsoff trying to control the action but Jones is working from the bottom. Jones is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Boitsoff is controlling him well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Boitsoff's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Boitsoff seems to be working for a kimura but Jones defends the submission attempt. Boitsoff is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Jones throws a right and a left that Boitsoff avoids nicely. Boitsoff changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Boitsoff manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Boitsoff moves away from the strike by Jones. Jones works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones misses with a hook.

Boitsoff avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Boitsoff defending well as Jones loads up on a big left hand. Jones is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Boitsoff, before circling back to the center of the mat. Boitsoff is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jones's half guard. Jones is trying to stand up here but Boitsoff is controlling him well.
