The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones moves into the clinch successfully.
Denton is trying to break the clinch but Jones is controlling him.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Denton defends it easily.

Denton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage.

Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That kick from Denton tenderised Jones's leg. Jones is trying to keep his angry face on.
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Denton pinned against the cage. Denton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Denton which made him look bad.
