Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Hodgins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Najman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Najman has chosen Remember The Name as his entrance music. Marcin Najman will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adam Hodgins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcin Najman! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hodgins closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hodgins ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hodgins no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Hodgins looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hodgins throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Najman stopping the sweep attempt from Hodgins. Najman wants to control from the top but Hodgins keeps moving. Hodgins is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hodgins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Najman can do anything to dispel that myth. Hodgins looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Hodgins seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Najman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hodgins is trying to work for a kimura but Najman is defending well.
Hodgins is controlling the pace.
Najman is trying to get back to full guard. Hodgins throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Najman to regain full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hodgins in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hodgins wants to pass the guard but Najman is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hodgins is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hodgins wants to control from the top but Najman keeps moving. Najman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hodgins is one step ahead there. Hodgins is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Adam Hodgins just wasn't active enough. A good leg kick by Hodgins. Hodgins will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Najman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Hodgins looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Najman is defending well. Hodgins quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Najman has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Hodgins celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
