Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ugly Kid Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joe takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Joe lands with a nice combination. Silva backs away looking to recover.
Silva jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Ugly Kid Joe has been cut.
Joe tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Joe fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Silva checks it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ugly Kid Joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Joe is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Silva moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
