Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taka Hana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nuke Yu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nuke Yu told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yu swings widly with a right hand
and Hana connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Yu moves away from the strike by Hana.
Yu lands with a cross.
Hana misses with a takedown attempt - Yu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Yu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hana.
Hana closes the distance and clinches up with Yu, looking for a takedown. Hana pushes Yu against the cage but Yu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hana is defended easily by Yu.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hana tries to score a power double leg takedown but Yu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hana somewhat.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yu can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Hana is stalling here. Yu is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hana seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Yu has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Hana shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Yu as he avoids it easily.
Hana takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hana bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Yu is pushing Hana's head away, looking to escape. Hana manages to hold on to the position though.

Nuke Yu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Yu connects with a body shot that sends Hana's belly button to the back.

Yu is staying active underneath Hana, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Taka Hana overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee warns Yu that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Hana takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Nuke Yu is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
