Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ismail Kasyanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Baduk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baduk is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Leontiev Valera - Sokrovische Chernogo Morya. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ismail Kasyanov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Baduk! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Baduk. Kasyanov cracks Baduk with a right hand to the side of the head. Kasyanov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Sergei Baduk has been cut. Kasyanov has closed the distance and engaged Baduk in a clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Baduk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Baduk misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Baduk misses with a wild body shot. A combination from Baduk does no damage. Kasyanov avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kasyanov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Baduk makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Kasyanov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Baduk. Baduk scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Kasyanov takes one to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kasyanov moves into range and clinches up with Baduk. Baduk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kasyanov tries to clinch but Baduk moves out of range. Kasyanov throws a right and a left that both miss. Baduk throws a series of punches but Kasyanov avoids them all with ease. Kasyanov wants to clinch but Baduk slips to the side and Baduk cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Baduk fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kasyanov is rocked! Baduk throws a right hand that Kasyanov ducks under and follows up with a left that Kasyanov also avoids with ease. Oh Kasyanov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Baduk has cracked Kasyanov with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Baduk lands another huge swinging hook and Kasyanov tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Kasyanov, before Baduk can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sergei Baduk! An out of breath Sergei Baduk thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
