Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Petrovas.
A left lands for Petrovas.
Lukic shoots in but no luck this time.
Petrovas scores a takedown into full mount!
Lukic avoids a series of strikes thrown by Petrovas.
Petrovas lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Lukic hang on?
Petrovas working for a submission but Lukic is keeping him at bay.

Petrovas is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lukic to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lukic shrugs it off.

Petrovas is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lukic is aware though and is defending well.

Lukic passes Petrovas's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Lukic is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Petrovas sees it coming and defends easily.
Lukic is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Petrovas to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Petrovas keeping moving, preventing Lukic from controlling successfully.
Lukic won't allow Petrovas to sweep him here.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lukic looking to pass the guard.
Petrovas has his foot on Lukic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lukic works his way back into a safe position though.
Lukic drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Petrovas manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lukic has Petrovas in his guard.

Petrovas is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Petrovas throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Lukic is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Petrovas is aware though and is defending well.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lukic is on top in guard.

Petrovas is breathing heavily.
Lukic slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Lukic is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Petrovas looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lukic gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Petrovas is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lukic lets go of the hold and Petrovas can pop his arm back in it's socket.
