Everyday misses with an attempted mid kick.

Herb Everyday seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Everyday tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Putin was well out of range. Poor timing from Everyday.
Everyday lands a nice hook to Putin's body. Putin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Putin scores with a crisp jab that stopped Everyday in his tracks.

Everyday stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Everyday wants it to stay on the feet.

Everyday is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Putin.
Putin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Everyday's waist but Everyday gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Putin off to one side.
Everyday takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Everyday get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Everyday stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Putin runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vladimir Putin!
In his post fight interview, Vladimir Putin started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
