Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hirokazu Yonemoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aoki Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aoki has chosen Marcelo D2 - Desabafo as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yonemoto throws a head kick but Aoki moves out of range.

and Aoki counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Hirokazu Yonemoto has been cut.
Yonemoto is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Yonemoto changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aoki tries to avoid it but Yonemoto manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aoki to the ground. Aoki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Yonemoto could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Aoki gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Yonemoto regains guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Yonemoto tries to bench press Aoki off him but Aoki keeps the position.
Aoki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yonemoto keeps working.
Aoki is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Yonemoto knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Yonemoto wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Aoki.
Aoki sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Aoki is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Yonemoto is defending well though. Aoki let's go of the attempt for now.

Aoki is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Yonemoto knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Yonemoto for a finish.

Aoki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Yonemoto drops back, looking for a kneebar! Aoki looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Aoki looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Aoki!
Yonemoto might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
