Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brent Caerdinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Archangel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caerdinn comes to the cage accompanied by Dr. Feelgood. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Archangel or perhaps it was just good defense by Caerdinn which made him look bad.
Archangel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Caerdinn throws a good cross that connects.
Caerdinn changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Archangel shoots in for a takedown but Caerdinn shows good takedown defense.
Brent Caerdinn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christopher Archangel.
Caerdinn jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Caerdinn scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Archangel doesn't seem bothered though.
Caerdinn throws a series of punches but Archangel moves out of range.

Caerdinn scores with a hook to the body. Archangel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Caerdinn lunges at Archangel with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Archangel's hand.
Archangel shoots in but no luck this time.
Archangel shoots in and drives through. Caerdinn sprawls well.
Caerdinn lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Caerdinn throws a good cross that connects.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Caerdinn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Caerdinn throws a looping overhand right but Archangel ducks down to avoid it.
Archangel is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Caerdinn.
Archangel fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Caerdinn lands with a right hand.
Caerdinn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Archangel has a takedown stuffed.
Caerdinn lands a with a good body shot.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Caerdinn tests Archangel's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A punch combination from Caerdinn misses.
Caerdinn stalks Archangel and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Archangel's face. Archangel staggers backwards, shaken.
Archangel takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Caerdinn connects with the punch.
Caerdinn throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Archangel gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Archangel is trying desperately to land a takedown but Caerdinn is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Archangel.
Archangel takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Archangel has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Archangel there as he acknowledges the shot.
Archangel takes a shot to the body in his stride.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Caerdinn cracks Archangel with an open hand slap.
Caerdinn cracks Archangel with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A decent looking cross lands there for Caerdinn.
Archangel on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Caerdinn dances in with a quick combination. Archangel is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Caerdinn snaps Archangel's head back. Archangel stumbles backwards against the cage. Caerdinn steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Archangel's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Archangel just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Brent Caerdinn!
