Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vicente Otubro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Bickens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Otubro's entrance music is Smthng 2 Die 4. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stan Bickens!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Otubro lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bickens circles away quickly and effectively.
Bickens tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Otubro was well out of range. Poor timing from Bickens.
Bickens takes one to the chin there.
Otubro comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Otubro misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Otubro doesn't manage to clinch there - Bickens circles away.
Otubro scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Otubro fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bickens takes a swing at Otubro's ribcage but misses.
Vicente Otubro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Otubro fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bickens to the ground. Otubro is now in Bickens's guard.
Otubro wants to pass the guard but Bickens is keeping the position.

Otubro wants to stand but Bickens has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Otubro lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Bickens working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Otubro doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Otubro manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bickens has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Otubro can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Otubro is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We're going to have a standup here because Vicente Otubro wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Bickens looks to score with a jab to the body but Otubro is just out of range.

Otubro feints and as Bickens raises his hands in defense, Otubro changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Otubro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bickens swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bickens is looking for a triangle but Otubro pushes his legs off easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bickens is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Otubro shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Otubro showed some decent athleticism there.
Otubro wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bickens keeps working.

Otubro fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bickens to the ground. Otubro is now in Bickens's guard.

Bickens looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Otubro has picked Bickens up and slammed him! Bickens can't keep hold of the triangle and Otubro manages to pass to side control!
Bickens regains half guard there - taking advantage of Otubro's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Otubro is working for a kimura but Bickens is defending it quite comfortably.

Bickens is not content to let Otubro control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bickens wants to improve his position but Otubro is controlling well.

Otubro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Otubro paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Otubro ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bickens moves away.
Otubro takes a swing at Bickens's ribcage but misses.
Otubro scores with a takedown into Bickens's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Bickens sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Otubro doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Bickens paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Otubro - great work!
