Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kickin Kenny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Denato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Denato clinches up with Kenny and pushes him back against the cage.
Kenny slows down the pace here.
Denato blocks an uppercut.
Kenny is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Denato is keeping busy.

Denato gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Denato perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Denato frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Kenny tries to buck Denato off but he can't manage it.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Denato takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kenny is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Kenny really wants to buck Denato off and get back to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Denato has control of Kenny's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kenny regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Kenny reaches up to try and control the position but Denato seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Kenny rolls and tries to escape and now Denato has his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jason Denato dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kenny tries to bum rush Denato with a series of wild strikes but Denato uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kenny misses with a few strikes there.

Denato has Kenny up against the cage in a clinch.
Kenny trying to stall but Denato improves his position.
Kenny really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kenny lands with a right to the head.
Denato tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Denato jumps guard but Kenny stands there with Denato around his waist. Denato gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Denato tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The referee calls for Denato to work.
Denato fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kickin Kenny has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Denato.
Kenny tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kenny lands a left hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kenny is trying to maintain a safe position but Denato gets an underhook and turns Kenny into the cage.
Kenny seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Denato is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.

Denato escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

so Denato counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kenny can't keep his opponent in guard - Denato advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Denato wants to work for an arm triangle but Kenny is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Denato decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kenny connects with a nice cross there... Denato is looking wobbly and Kenny recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Denato to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Kenny jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
