The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boddicker misses with a double jab
and Sproule counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Sproule avoids a punch combination nicely.
Boddicker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sproule.
Sproule looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
It looks like James Sproule has been cut.
Boddicker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boddicker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Boddicker tries to bum rush Sproule with a series of wild strikes but Sproule uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sproule throws a right hand that Boddicker ducks under and follows up with a left that Boddicker also avoids with ease.

Clarence Boddicker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Sproule counters with a crisp one two that drops Boddicker! Sproule thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Boddicker to his feet! Boddicker is in big trouble!

and Boddicker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Clarence Boddicker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Oooooh!!! Sproule has knocked Boddicker down with a huge combo! Sproule steps away and waves a wobbly Boddicker back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Boddicker is rocked!
Sproule looks to land a combination but Boddicker avoids it well.
Boddicker is still on wobbly legs! Can Sproule finish him?
Sproule has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sproule there as he acknowledges the shot.
Sproule dips to his left and cracks Boddicker with an uppercut!
Sproule dodges the punch combination from Boddicker.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Sproule.

Boddicker loses concentration momentarily and Sproule pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Boddicker crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Sproule finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
