Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Soz Sztrova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Heydrikson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sztrova comes to the cage accompanied by In Flames - Delight and Anger. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Soz Sztrova!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dan Heydrikson!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heydrikson drives through and clinches with Sztrova against the cage.
Heydrikson wants to break free but Sztrova has control.
Sztrova wants to take the fight to the mat but Heydrikson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Sztrova jumps guard and drags Heydrikson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Sztrova has a closed guard, preventing Heydrikson from standing up.
Sztrova is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Heydrikson wanted to stand there but Sztrova had control of the position.
Sztrova wants to sweep but no luck.
Sztrova throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Sztrova tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Sztrova controlling Heydrikson's posture.

Sztrova keeping moving, preventing Heydrikson from controlling successfully.
Sztrova pushes Heydrikson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Heydrikson moves in looking to clinch but Sztrova pushes him off.
Sztrova tries to clinch up.
Heydrikson tries a head kick but it misses.
Heydrikson shoots in and drives through. Sztrova sprawls well.
Heydrikson misses with a leg kick
and Sztrova counters by moving into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sztrova breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Heydrikson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sztrova swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Heydrikson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sztrova is looking for a takedown.
Heydrikson is trying to force a seperation but Sztrova has the dominant position.
Heydrikson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sztrovas head.
Sztrova wants to take the fight to the mat but Heydrikson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Soz Sztrova. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sztrova is trying to break the clinch but Heydrikson has him pressed against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Heydrikson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Heydrikson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Heydrikson managing to block the knees to the body from Sztrova.
Sztrova has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Heydrikson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sztrova tries for a takedown. No joy.
Sztrova drops down looking for an ankle pick but Heydrikson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Heydrikson falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Sztrova to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Heydrikson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sztrova takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Heydrikson tries to clinch but Sztrova is having none of it.
Heydrikson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Sztrova gets the takedown into side control.
Sztrova looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Heydrikson tries to escape but Sztrova is in control.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sztrova trying to control the position but Heydrikson is working away.
Sztrova prevents Heydrikson from escaping the position.
Sztrova has hold of Heydrikson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Heydrikson seems comfortable defending it but Sztrova has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Heydrikson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Heydrikson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Sztrova couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Soz Sztrova!
Soz Sztrova decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
