Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chen Lebeng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vedran Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chen Lebeng is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chen Lebeng! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Vedran Russo! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lebeng closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Russo's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Lebeng drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lebeng jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Lebeng won't allow Russo to get back to his feet. Lebeng decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Russo, up you get! Lebeng closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lebeng lands in his opponent's guard. Russo pushes Lebeng off and gets back to his feet.
Russo throws a right hand that Lebeng ducks under and follows up with a left that Lebeng also avoids with ease. Russo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lebeng is fending him off so far but Russo persists. Nope, Lebeng circles away and we're back to standing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lebeng avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Russo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lebeng tries to avoid it but Russo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lebeng to the ground. Lebeng escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Russo fails to land the takedown. Chen Lebeng has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vedran Russo. Lebeng has a takedown stuffed. Vedran Russo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Russo is looking to clinch. Russo fails with the takedown. Lebeng misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lebeng fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Russo avoids it really well and circles away. Lebeng looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Russo is fending him off so far but Lebeng persists. Nope, Russo circles away and we're back to standing. Russo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lebeng's waist but Lebeng gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Russo off to one side. Russo is looking to clinch. Lebeng keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Russo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lebeng sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Russo somewhat. Lebeng shoots for a double leg takedown but Russo sprawls well. He's pushed Lebeng's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lebeng closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Russo to the mat! Russo manages to get full guard. Lebeng wants to control from the top but Russo keeps moving. Lebeng passes into half guard. Lebeng stops Russo from getting back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action! Lebeng seems to be looking for submissions.
Lebeng is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Russo looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Russo looks gassed! Lebeng is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Russo sees it coming and defends easily. Lebeng seems to be working for a kimura but Russo defends the submission attempt. Lebeng seems to be looking for submissions.
Lebeng is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lebeng seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Russo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Russo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lebeng. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lebeng is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Russo defends it well. Lebeng decides to return to a standing position. Lebeng shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Lebeng tries to close the distance and clinch but Russo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lebeng stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lebeng wants it to stay on the feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Russo gets in close and instigates a clinch. Russo can't break the clinch.
Lebeng has had enough of the clinch but Russo keeps him there for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chen Lebeng dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lebeng is trying hard to land a takedown here. Russo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Russo is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Russo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Lebeng shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lebeng was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Lebeng wants to control the pace but Russo is squirming around nicely. Lebeng is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Russo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Russo shrugs it off. Lebeng won't let Russo get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Lebeng is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Russo is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Russo flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Lebeng anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Russo and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Lebeng slips an arm under Russo chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Lebeng has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Lebeng is squeezing on Russo like an anaconda would it's prey. Russo fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Chen Lebeng! Chen Lebeng decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
