The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson shoots for a takedown but Soni saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Soni closes the distance and clinches.
Still in the clinch, Soni scores with a nice short uppercut.
Soni tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Anderson's elbow.
Soni gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Anderson.
