Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Carneiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bruno Carneiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nick Kim!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kim scores with a takedown into Carneiro's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Carneiro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kim gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kim passes into half guard.

Carneiro looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Kim lands strikes from half guard.
Carneiro avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kim.

Kim is working for a kimura but Carneiro is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kim is trying to work for a kimura but Carneiro is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carneiro blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kim.
Carneiro tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Carneiro regains full guard. Nicely done.
Carneiro will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kim scoring with some ground and pound.

Kim drops back looking for a leg! Carneiro is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Carneiro manages to kick Kim off! Kim jumps back into Carneiro's guard.
Kim should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Kim scoring with punches to the head and body.
Kim tries to free his leg and advance position but Carneiro is retaining full guard.

Carneiro looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Carneiro can't keep his opponent in guard - Kim advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carneiro blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kim.
Kim uses his free foot to push down on Carneiro's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Carneiro.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kim swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Carneiro is now in Kim's guard. A big mistake from Kim there, giving up the dominant position!
Kim looks gassed!
Carneiro passes Kim's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Kim is trying to control but Carneiro manages to pass to mount!
Kim really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Carneiro wants to take his opponent's back but Kim doesn't allow it.
Kim is trying to stand but he's just given Carneiro his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Carneiro working for the choke.
Carneiro doesn't have the hooks in and Kim manages to turn into his guard.

Carneiro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kim gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kim wants to control from the top but Carneiro keeps moving.
Kim working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Kim pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Carneiro is keeping the position for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kim throws a strike but Carneiro rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Kim is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Carneiro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Carneiro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kim tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kim is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Carneiro defends well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Kim can't keep his opponent in guard - Carneiro advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bruno Carneiro will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Carneiro shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kim is trying to defend but Carneiro finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Kim is looking to escape.

Carneiro is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kim sees it coming and defends easily.

Carneiro is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kim defends it well.

Kim is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Carneiro pulls his head out easily.
Carneiro is pressing down on Kim's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kim is holding on for now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kim works his way to full guard. Good work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kim avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Carneiro is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kim has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Carneiro is looking to defend but Kim has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Carneiro! Kim pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Carneiro taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nick Kim!
