The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Rock.
Thomas throws a lazy head kick
and Rock counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Thomas is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Thomas takes one on the button.
Rock lets loose with a powerful body kick. Thomas will feel that in the morning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thomas takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Thomas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rock connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Doug Thomas has been cut.
Rock blocks a head kick by Thomas.
Thomas avoids the head kick by Rock.
Rock connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Thomas covering up! Rock comes in with a big uppercut and Thomas goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
