Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitch McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Santucho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDonald comes to the cage accompanied by Sounds of Silence. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mitch McDonald!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pablo Santucho!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santucho shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McDonald as he jumps to the side.
McDonald throws a leg kick that misses.
Santucho will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
McDonald with a hook.
Santucho shoots for a takedown but McDonald saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mitch McDonald has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Santucho.
McDonald uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Santucho.
Santucho fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging McDonald to the ground. Santucho is now in McDonald's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Santucho is looking to advance position but McDonald has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
McDonald trying to control but Santucho is having none of it.
McDonald takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Santucho gets back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Santucho tries to roll over but McDonald keeps him under control.
Santucho is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
McDonald wants to take a breather but Santucho is having none of it.
McDonald perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Santucho is controlling McDonald's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Mitch McDonald wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Santucho fails with a takedown attempt.
McDonald throws a low kick but Santucho moves out of range easily.
Santucho misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Santucho shoots in for a takedown but McDonald shows good takedown defense.
Santucho slips a jab and a cross from McDonald.
Santucho on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McDonald lands a jab to Santucho's midsection.
McDonald lands with a nice body punch.
Santucho looks gassed!
McDonald stuns Santucho with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
McDonald doesn't manage to clinch there - Santucho circles away.
McDonald wants to clinch up but Santucho keeps it at a distance.
McDonald lands a big right hand that sends Santucho crashing to the mat! McDonald stays standing though and waves Santucho back to his feet!
Santucho is rocked!
That has opened up Pablo Santucho's cut even more.
Santucho circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
McDonald is stalking Santucho. Santucho circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from McDonald, and it's lights out! Santucho really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mitch McDonald!
Mitch McDonald tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
