Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sync Fowler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lianjie Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li lands with a nice combination. Fowler backs away looking to recover.
Li tries to clinch but Fowler moves out of range.

Fowler manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Li on his heels. He'll look to pass Li's guard now, I'm sure.

Fowler escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Li gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Li shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fowler defends it nicely.
Li throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fowler counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Li!
Sync Fowler overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Li got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fowler has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Li has managed to get both his arms back between Fowler's legs - danger averted.

Fowler drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Li manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fowler has Li in his guard.
Li takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Fowler is adopting a defensive guard.
Fowler is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Li frees his head nicely. Oh but Fowler has switched to an armbar! Li is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
