Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Cristos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hank Williams Jr. - Country Boy Can Survive . Cristos has chosen Cypress Hill - Hand on the Pump as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Matt Hughes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Hughes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cristos.
Cristos connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Cristos lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Matt Hughes has been cut.
Hughes throws a series of punches but Cristos moves out of range.
Cristos scores with a hook to the body. Hughes takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hughes fails with the takedown.
Cristos dips to his left and cracks Hughes with an uppercut!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hughes tries for a takedown but Cristos circles away easily
and Cristos counters with a straight right hand.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Hughes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hughes is breathing heavily.
A jab from Cristos finds it's way through Hughes's defenses.
Cristos feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hughess jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Matt Hughes's cut is getting worse.
Hughes gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Cristos gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Hughes is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Martin Cristos!
