Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Petruzelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Regard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Anthony Petruzelli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bo Regard!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petruzelli fails in his attempt to clinch.
Petruzelli looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Regard closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Regard lands a nice forearm strike.
Regard takes a little break here. Petruzelli wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Regard wants to control but Petruzelli is keeping him busy.
Regard controls the position.
Regard wants to lay and pray for a moment but Petruzelli keeps working.
Regard works to advance to full mount. Petruzelli defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Regard is working for a guillotine from mount but Petruzelli frees his head quite easily.

Let's hope that Regard has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Petruzelli is squirming around, avoiding Regard's attempts to control the action.

Despite being in the dominant position, Bo Regard just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Regard has managed to clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Petruzelli blocks the strikes from Regard.
Regard is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Regard manages to get to full guard.
Regard lands a decent shot there.
Petruzelli won't allow Regard to sweep him here.
Regard has control of Petruzelli's left arm, preventing Petruzelli from doing any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Petruzelli has his foot on Regard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Regard works his way back into a safe position though.
Anthony Petruzelli has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Petruzelli escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Regard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Regard decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Petruzelli, up you get!

Bo Regard comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Regard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
