Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roscoe Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masaki Sumitani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Masaki Sumitani enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Roscoe Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Masaki Sumitani! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jones, as that shot connected.
Sumitani fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Sumitani is able to avoid easily. A punch combination from Sumitani misses. Sumitani misses with a wild body shot. Jones gets a clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from Jones. Jones lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sumitani backwards. Jones tries a body shot but Sumitani blocks it.
Sumitani is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Jones is defending well. Sumitani blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Jones landing knees to the head.
A head punch on the inside from Jones fails to land. Sumitani lands a body shot in the clinch.
Sumitani misses with a punch to the body.
Jones lands with a light punch inside. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sumitani blocking some punches.
Jones lands a shoulder strike. A right hook to the body lands for Jones.

Jones misses with a short punch on the inside. Nice body punch from Jones. Jones trying to control the position but instead, Sumitani has worked for underhooks and has pushed Jones into the cage. Sumitani is working for takedown but Jones is calmly controlling the position for now. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Jones as Sumitani tries to tie him up. Sumitani is pushing Jones up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Jones blocks a body shot from Sumitani. Jones digs a right hand underneath Sumitani's ribcage. Sumitani let out a lung full of air as it connected. Jones working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Sumitani has Jones pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sumitani pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jones tumbling to the mat - Sumitani dives into Jones's guard. Sumitani trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones managing to control the position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sumitani throws a big elbow that misses. Jones wants to stand but Sumitani is controlling the position. Sumitani stays in close to Jones's body and controls the position. Sumitani throwing strikes but missing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sumitani trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sumitani accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sumitani must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jones tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jones throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Sumitani won't allow Jones to get back to his feet. Sumitani is looking to work some ground and pound but Jones has wrist control. Sumitani passes Jones's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sumitani trying to control from half guard but Jones is working away. Sumitani stops Jones from getting back to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sumitani trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roscoe Jones dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sumitani fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jones checks it well. Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sumitani tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Sumitani. Sumitani misses with the combination.
A telegraphed right hand from Sumitani misses the target. Jones gets a clinch. Sumitani looking to slow down the pace here. Sumitani avoiding damage as Jones throws knees to the body.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sumitani takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Sumitani throws a head punch that misses. Jones tries a body shot but Sumitani blocks it.

Jones creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Jones. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Jones as Sumitani tries to tie him up. Sumitani blocks an uppercut.
Sumitani wants to break free but Jones has control.
Sumitani is trying to break the clinch but Jones is controlling him. Sumitani swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Jones doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones looking to stall.
Sumitani has a couple of punches blocked by Jones.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Jones is pressed up against the cage. Sumitani has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jones down to the mat. Jones avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Sumitani swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sumitani drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Some bone on bone action there as Jones checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Jones lands with a nice body punch. A right-left combo lands from Sumitani. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jones lands an overhand right. Masaki Sumitani is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jones cracks the inside of Sumitani's front leg. Sumitani throws a big shot that misses. Sumitani on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jones. Jones obviously looking to wear him down.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sumitani keeps the fight on the outside. Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Sumitani tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Jones is looking to chop away at Sumitani's legs. Jones connects with a leg kick. Sumitani looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Jones keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sumitani. Sumitani blocks a head kick by Jones.
Jones scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Donk. Jones catches Sumitani right on the button with a cross. Jones is looking to clinch but Sumitani is avoiding it.
Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sumitani shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Jones lands a nice hook to Sumitani's body. Sumitani takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Jones misses with a straight right. Sumitani swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sumitani gets a takedown into half guard. Jones keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Jones is trying to get back to full guard. Sumitani trying to control from half guard but Jones is working away. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sumitani wants to pass the guard but Jones is defending well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Roscoe Jones will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Jones uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sumitani. Sumitani gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jones. Sumitani finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Jones scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Sumitani misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sumitani shoots in and gets a takedown into Jones's guard. Sumitani keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jones's head. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sumitani accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sumitani distracts Jones with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Sumitani doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sumitani manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Jones looking to control.
Sumitani working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Jones keeping moving, preventing Sumitani from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sumitani is looking to work some ground and pound but Jones has wrist control. Sumitani content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones keeping full guard, as Sumitani tries to pass. Sumitani trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Sumitani not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Sumitani advances to half guard. Sumitani is trying to control the action in half guard but Jones is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sumitani working over Jones with some ground and pound. Jones looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Jones trying to control here.

Sumitani throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Jones taking some punishment here, with Sumitani in his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sumitani throwing shots but Jones is blocking nicely. Roscoe Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Jones is not content to let Sumitani control the position. Sumitani is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jones! Jones blocking the ground and pound. Sumitani lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Sumitani punching from mount but Jones doing a good job of avoiding damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sumitani scores with a couple of good head shots there.
This has been an exciting period of action! Sumitani breaks from Jones's wrist control and lands an elbow. Masaki Sumitani has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jones tries to lock up and control but Sumitani gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that's the end of the fight! Masaki Sumitani comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jones has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
