Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Terre Moto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Terre Moto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sam Fisher!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moto moves into the clinch.
Fisher is trying to break free.
Moto wants a takedown but no success here.
Moto keeps control of Fisher as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Moto prevents the takedown attempt.
Moto's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Fisher wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Moto breaks the clinch.
Moto fails in his attempt to clinch.
Moto tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fisher swivels and escapes.
Moto is looking to clinch but Fisher is avoiding it.
Moto wants to clinch up but Fisher keeps it at a distance.
Moto ducks under a wild hook from Fisher.
The fight stays on the outside here - Moto looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Moto closes the distance and clinches.

Moto breaks the clinch.

Moto gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Moto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fisher fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fisher. Moto does a little dance to reset his feet.

Moto has taken the fight to the clinch.
Moto is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Fisher is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Moto is defending well.

Moto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Moto moves out of range of the strikes.

Nice sprawl there from Fisher as Moto shoots in.
Moto tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Fisher manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Fisher thows a body shot but no joy.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Moto enables Fisher to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Moto manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Fisher in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Moto is controlling Fisher's posture.
Fisher controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Fisher is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Moto tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fisher sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Moto somewhat.
Moto doesn't manage to clinch there - Fisher circles away.

Fisher bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Moto manages to work his way to half guard, despite Fisher's best efforts.

Moto is trying to control but can't.
Fisher working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Moto is looking for a sweep. Fisher is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Fisher working over Moto with some ground and pound. Moto looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Moto throws a strike from the bottom but Fisher passes into side control!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fisher tries to advance to mount but can't.
Fisher takes a little break here. Moto wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Moto is trying to improve his position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fisher in side control, just content to control the action for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fisher shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Moto is trying to defend but Fisher finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Moto is looking for a sweep. Fisher is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Fisher thows a huge punch but Moto dodges it nicely.

Moto has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fisher is working away from the top position though.

Moto is looking to escape.
Fisher performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Moto kicks off Fisher and gets to his feet.
Moto fails in his attempt to clinch.
Terre Moto is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fisher avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Moto moves away from the strike by Fisher.
Moto tries to close the distance and clinch but Fisher swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Moto fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fisher lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Moto circles away quickly and effectively.

Fisher closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Moto is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Fisher scores with a couple of nice shots.
Fisher takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Sam Fisher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Moto has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Fisher after a bit of a struggle.

Moto tries to clinch there but Fisher circles away.
Fisher keeps the fight on the outside.
Fisher just misses with a punch to the body.
Fisher throws a lazy right hand but Moto sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Fisher gets the takedown into side control.
Fisher slows the pace down.
Moto misses with a strike from the bottom.

Fisher is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Moto's shoulder. That is not cool.
Moto sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fisher connects with a nice short shot to Moto's temple.

This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fisher lands a nice short elbow.
Moto wants to get back to full guard.
Fisher takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Fisher frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Moto is looking to get to half guard.
Fisher tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Fisher's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Moto is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Fisher lands with some strikes.
Fisher scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Moto?
