Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Nowak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luc Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luc Smith is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luc Smith!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nowak's guard.
Smith showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Let's hope that Smith has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Smith stands up and waves to Nowak to follow him.
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smith throws a push kick but Nowak slaps the foot to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Smith lands in his opponent's guard.
Smith pushing down on Nowak's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Smith keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Nowak has a hand on Smith's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Smith takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Smith scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Nowak is working to get back to half guard.
Smith lands a heavy elbow.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Smith cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nowak has given up his back here.
Smith controls the position.
Nowak is trying to defend against the choke here but Smith has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Smith Tightens the hold and Nowak taps out furiously! Smith displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
