Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jeff McCoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake O Donnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? O Donnell is fending him off so far but McCoy persists. Nope, O Donnell circles away and we're back to standing.

O Donnell closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - O Donnell lands in his opponent's guard.
O Donnell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCoy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
O Donnell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and McCoy counters with a big head kick but O Donnell shrugs it off.
Oh McCoy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
O Donnell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

McCoy moves into range and clinches up with O Donnell.
McCoy seems to have got his legs back now.
McCoy tries to break the clinch but O Donnell is controlling the position.

McCoy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McCoy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
O Donnell throws a right hand that McCoy ducks under and follows up with a left that McCoy also avoids with ease.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McCoy plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

McCoy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That was a close round but I would say that Jeff McCoy will probably get the nod.

McCoy is stalling here. O Donnell is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! McCoy seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and O Donnell has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jeff McCoy will probably get the nod.
