Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Sisphar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khulet Malapitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Khulet Malapitan! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sisphar keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Malapitan. Sisphar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sisphar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Malapitan paws at him with a jab and circles away. Malapitan jabs Sisphar to the body, keeping him at a distance. Malapitan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Malapitan tries to bum rush Sisphar with a series of wild strikes but Sisphar uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sisphar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sisphar lands a big head kick that sends Malapitan tumbling to the mat! Sisphar takes a step backwards and waves Malapitan back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Malapitan is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sisphar clinches. Malapitan is still on wobbly legs! Can Sisphar finish him? Sisphar throws a knee to the head but misses.

Sisphar has Malapitan pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Malapitan is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Sisphar - that's hurt Malapitan badly! Oh, another knee lands and Malapitan is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Malapitan doesn't seem to be complaining.
