Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Boothe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boothe comes to the cage accompanied by Tyler The Creator - Yonkers. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thomas Boothe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cody Lee! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Chad Campbell and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boothe does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Lee moves out of range of the leg kick from Boothe. Lee fails with a takedown attempt. Lee fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Boothe. Lee looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Boothe misses with a right hand and Lee counters with a lovely straight right hand! Boothe defending well as Lee loads up on a big left hand. Lee tries to land a front kick but Boothe steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Boothe walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Lee throws a shot from downtown. Boothe moves away and avoids it. Lee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Boothe can't do much from the bottom here. Boothe gets back to half guard. Boothe is trying to stand back up but Lee is controlling him
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee wants to pass the guard but Boothe is defending well. Lee works his way into full mount! Lee breaks from Boothe's wrist control and lands an elbow. Lee with shots to the head and body - Boothe looks very uncomfortable down there. Lee pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Boothe tries to hold on but Lee pushes him away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Boothe is wriggling around trying to escape.
Lee trying to control but Boothe is having none of it. Lee punching from mount but Boothe doing a good job of avoiding damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boothe gets back to half guard. Lee perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Lee with the ground and pound but Boothe uses the opportunity to regain guard. Boothe has Lee pulled in close to control his posture. Lee wants to pass the guard but Boothe is keeping the position. Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Boothe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee looking to sit in guard and control but Boothe gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Lee trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boothe pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lee is keeping the position for now. Boothe is working hard here to advance position. Lee tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boothe tries to free his leg and advance position but Lee is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boothe being controlled here momentarily.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Cody Lee. Boothe misses with a wild combination.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Lee!
It looks like Thomas Boothe has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boothe leaves Lee with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A big left from Lee misses. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Boothe misses with a body shot
and Lee connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Lee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cody Lee dominated that round. The cut man is working on Thomas Boothe's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Boothe throws out a powerful jab. Boothe avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Cody Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Boothe lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lee has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lee and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Boothe steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lee. Lee misses with a wild body shot. Boothe blocks a low kick nicely. Boothe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lee ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Boothe lands a nice shot that snaps Lee's head back.
Lee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lee landing a few strikes. Boothe sneaks back into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee trying to control from half guard but Boothe is working away. Boothe is looking for a sweep. Lee is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Lee looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Lee working over Boothe with some ground and pound. Boothe looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Lee is stalling here. Boothe is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Lee seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Boothe has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Lee sneaks out the side door and pushes Boothe away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Thomas Boothe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Boothe's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lee under the eye. Lee loads up on a big right hand but Boothe slips the punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cody Lee seems to be getting the better of the standup. Boothe throws a leg kick which misses Lee's front leg but catches the back leg as Lee tries to avoid it. Lee connects with a leg kick. Boothe looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lee misses with a head kick.
A slow jab from Boothe misses its intended target. Lee slips a jab from Boothe. Boothe takes a swing at Lee's ribcage but misses. Lee lands a jab to the nose. Boothe throws a predictable looking body shot
and Lee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Boothe throws a head kick that misses. Boothe staying out of range there. Boothe misses with a body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Lee. Boothe shrugs it off though. A shot to the liver by Lee. Beautiful body shot. Lee connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lee pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Boothe misses with a low kick. Lee looks to throw a body kick and Boothe counters with a lovely shot to the body. A nice leg kick lands there from Lee. Lee walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Boothe checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Boothe moves out of range of the body kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boothe connects with an inside leg kick. Lee throws the left hand but Boothe avoids the punch easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Boothe tries a head kick but it misses.
Lee feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Boothe's calf. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Boothe crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lee - the referee stops the clock and Boothe gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lee. Boothe manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Lee throws a body kick, spinning off balance enabling Boothe to counter with a crisp jab. Lee lunges at Boothe with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Boothe's hand. Boothe moves out of range of the body kick. Lee tries to land a front kick but Boothe steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Lee misses with a double jab.

Cody Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Thomas Boothe's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lee, right into the meat.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Lee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Boothe.
Lee throws a nice outside leg kick. Lee slips a straight right by Boothe. Boothe is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Lee scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Boothe throws a nice inside leg kick. Lee lands with a kick to the ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lee shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Boothe keeping hold of Lee's head, controlling as best he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee not landing any meaningful shots this time. Boothe regains full guard. Nicely done. Lee cracks Boothe with a solid left hand. Lee pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Boothe is keeping the position for now. Lee throwing strikes from guard but Boothe blocks nicely. Boothe is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lee throws a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lee passes Boothe's left leg - he's now in half guard. Boothe trying to control from the bottom.
Lee trying to control from half guard but Boothe is working away. Lee has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Lee throws a strike but Boothe avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Lee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Boothe is trying to keep Lee in close.
Lee wants to control from the top but Boothe keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boothe looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Lee is looking to work some ground and pound but Boothe has wrist control. Lee slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lee landing a few strikes. Boothe takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Boothe tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lee wants to control but Boothe is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee throwing strikes but Boothe manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Thomas Boothe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lee tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Boothe wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Lee is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Lee controlling the position for now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lee trying to control from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lee keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Boothe sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lee defending well though.
And that's the end of the fight! Cody Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
