Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Levi King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Poncho Villa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by Lou Reed - Perfect Day. Villa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In One Ear kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Levi King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Poncho Villa! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Villa manages to avoid it. Villa throws a looping overhand right but King ducks down to avoid it. A telegraphed right hand from King misses the target. King bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Villa is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, King asserts his dominance and retains side control. King in side control lands a decent elbow. King is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Villa has escaped the position, nice work there. Villa on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Villa is looking for a sweep. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. King prevents Villa from escaping the position. Villa dodges the ground and pound from King. Villa defending against the ground and pound. King tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. King trying to control the action but Villa is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no King has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Villa manages to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Villa is trying to stand back up but King is controlling him
King is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Villa sees it coming and defends easily. King seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Villa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. King is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Villa has managed to free his arm - good work. Villa is looking to escape. Villa on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. King lands a nice short elbow. Villa keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. King missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Villa is pressing down on King's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Villa working a defensive guard here.
King looking to sit in guard and control but Villa gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. King utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

King had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Villa defends it easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Villa engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. King is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Levi King dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
King throws a leg kick and Villa counters with a left to the body. Good leg kick by Villa there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
King avoids a kick to the body.
King motions for Villa to come forward. King throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Villa fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but King is out of range. King lands an overhand right. Villa changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. An inside leg kick lands from Villa. King forces Villa back against the cage and clinches. Villa has had enough of the clinch but King keeps him there for the moment. Villa avoids a wild elbow strike from King. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! King drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Villa gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That's one minute gone in the round. King gets control of Villa's arms and successfully pulls guard. King will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. King throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Villa escapes and throws King's legs to the side, diving into side control! Sloppy strikes there by Villa. King tries to improve position but can't. Villa looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Villa slows the pace down. King is trying to get back to half guard. Sloppy strikes there by Villa. Levi King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Villa's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Villa is looking to advance position but King won't allow it. Villa is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. King wants to sweep but Villa has passed to side control! Villa taking a break here but King is having none of it and regains half guard. Villa is trying to control. King wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King gets full guard. King is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Villa forces his way into half guard. Villa misses with a head shot. King uses the momentum to regain guard. King is trying to keep Villa in close.

A close second round but Poncho Villa will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

King looks to score with a jab to the body but Villa is just out of range. King lands with a thumping leg kick.
King connects with the punch. Villa keeps the fight on the outside. King throws a head kick but Villa moves out of range.
King blocks the body kick.
King displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Villa throws out the jab. King misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A swing and a miss from Villa. Villa scores with a jab. King acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Poncho Villa seems to be getting the better of the standup. King throws a leg kick but Villa moved away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Villa misses with a lunging right hand
and King counters with a nice body kick.

Villa wants to control but King is keeping him busy. Villa swings around for an armbar but King sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Villa's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King slips nicely into half guard. King slips a nice elbow through Villa's hands, connecting with Villa's forehead. Villa is trying to defend against the ground and pound but King scores with a couple of nice shots. Villa wants to get back to full guard. King trying to control from half guard but Villa is working away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! King is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that's the end of the fight! Levi King showed his dominance in that final round. Well King has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
