Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Merrick Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Levi King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane comes to the cage accompanied by Blood Sugar - Pendulum. The crowd seem to be enjoying King's choice of entrance music: Lou Reed - Perfect Day. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King avoids a kick to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kane, as that shot connected.
King digs a good hook to Kane's body.
Kane displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as King throws out the jab.
Kane on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
King misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
King wants to slow Kane down by chopping away at his legs.
King steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kane.
A swing and a miss from King.
King scores with a kick to the midsection.

Kane throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. King was covering up waiting for the punch and Kane finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kane controls from within his opponent's guard.
Kane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kane wants to pass the guard but King is keeping the position.

Kane is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so King is just riding it out for now. Kane eventually gives up the hold.
Kane is just content to waste time from the top position. King takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Merrick Kane will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kane throws a hook but King blocks it.
Kane misses with a jab, cross combination.
King stuffs the takedown attempt from Kane. Kane gets slowly back to his feet.
Kane shoots in looking for a takedown. King tries to sprawl out of it but Kane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. King manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kane thows a body shot but no joy.
Kane shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts King as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Merrick Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd cheers as King lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kane doesn't seem phased though.
Kane looks for the body kick but King saw that one coming.

King tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kane swats him away and circles back towards the center.
King finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
King wants to clinch up but Kane keeps it at a distance.
King misses with a head kick.

Levi King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kane. That's going to slow King down.
Kane thows a body shot but no joy.
Kane shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
King looks to land a combination but Kane avoids it well.
Kane misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
King lands a glancing blow to the side of Kane's head.
King shoots in and drives through. Kane sprawls well.

Kane looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kane lands a nice short elbow.
Merrick Kane overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kane is thwarting King's attempts to control the position.
King is not content to let Kane control the position.
King is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kane's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kane's back!

King is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kane is defending well though. King let's go of the attempt for now.
I really don't envy Kane right now.
King throwing sloppy strikes.
King is punishing Kane with some ground and pound.
Kane tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Kane manages to regain half guard. Good work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

King is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kane doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time King.

That was a close second round but I would say that Merrick Kane will probably get the nod.

Kane avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
King moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
King lands with a right hand.
Kane closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

King checks a leg kick nicely.
King scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kane doesn't seem bothered though.
Kane uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by King.
Kane is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by King.
A nice combination there by Kane.
King throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Kane lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Horrible takedown by Kane or perhaps it was just good defense by King which made him look bad.
Kane shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
King's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and King duly obliges.
Kane on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That kick from King tenderised Kane's leg. Kane is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kane takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
King tries to clinch up but Kane circles away and keeps his distance.
King moves in looking to clinch but Kane pushes him off.
King swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kane.

Kane closes the distance and pushes King back into the cage.
Kane swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Kane on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
King blocks a body shot from Kane.
A head punch blocked on the inside by King.
King holding his opponent close, against the cage.
King tries to land knees in the clinch but Kane avoids the damage to the body.
Levi King has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kane misses with a knee strike.

King pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Kane is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. King is defending well for now.
King has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Kane avoids a wild elbow strike from King.
King pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Kane tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and King avoids it.
Kane can't find room to land a body shot as King controls the action.
Kane using the Thai plumb to throw knees but King has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
King struggles to land a body shot inside as Kane controls his hands.
Kane gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from King.
King blocks a punch to the side of the head.
King misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kane.

Kane is pressed up against the cage. King has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kane down to the mat. Kane avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

King catches Kane with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A low kick from King misses
and Kane counters with a low kick, right behind King 's knee.
King moves out of range of the strikes.
King ducks under a wild hook from Kane.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kane's hands are dropping dangerously low here and King connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kane scrambles back to his feet.
King wants to slow Kane down by chopping away at his legs.
Merrick Kane is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Levi King seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kane stuffs the takedown attempt from King. King gets slowly back to his feet.
Merrick Kane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Levi King.
Kane fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and King has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Levi King comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.

Merrick Kane spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
