Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeffson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Cliff Richard - Summer Holiday. Robertson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Proclaimers - 500 Miles kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeffson Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Trevor Robertson!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson cracks Gracie with a right hand to the side of the head.
Robertson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Gracie clinches up with Robertson and pushes him back against the cage.
Robertson creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gracie's defenses.
Gracie with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Robertson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Robertson tries to stall but Gracie uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Gracie blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Gracie tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Robertson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Robertson trying to control the position but instead, Gracie has worked for underhooks and has pushed Robertson into the cage.
Robertson tries to land knees in the clinch but Gracie avoids the damage to the body.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Robertson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Robertson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gracie's guard.

Robertson thows a huge punch but Gracie dodges it nicely.

Robertson scores with a head kick. Gracie tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Robertson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Robertson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Robertson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gracie moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Gracie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Robertson throws out the jab.

Robertson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gracie.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gracie uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Robertson gets caught napping as Gracie dives in and scores a takedown. Robertson manages to retain guard.

Trevor Robertson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Gracie frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Gracie moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Robertson has worked his arm free - good work by Robertson!
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Robertson keeps working.

Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Robertson is defending well.
Jeffson Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Robertson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Robertson regains full guard. Nicely done.
Gracie won't allow Robertson to sweep him here.

Gracie is sitting in close to Robertson's body. Robertson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Gracie is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Gracie is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Robertson.

Trevor Robertson really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Popeye’s Spinach - 159 + 158 Proof Supps logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
