The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miolnir wants to clinch but Ferreira slips to the side
and Ferreira counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Miolnir's guard now.
Ferreira avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Miolnir is trying to control the position but Ferreira postures up.
Ferreira working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Miolnir's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ferreira wants to stand but Miolnir has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Miolnir has his foot on Ferreira's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ferreira works his way back into a safe position though.

Ferreira shoots in and drives through. Miolnir sprawls well.
