Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Onarpos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes to the cage accompanied by Et C'Est Parti. Antonio Onarpos will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Antonio Onarpos!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Onarpos.
Black needs to keep his hands up - Onarpos had a free shot at his head there.
Black could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Black looks to land a combination but Onarpos avoids it well.
Black shoots in for a takedown but Onarpos shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Black misses with a jab, cross combination.
Black dodges the punch combination from Onarpos.
Onarpos connects with a body shot that sends Black's belly button to the back.

Black closes the distance and clinches.
Onarpos tries a body shot but Black blocks it.
Onarpos tries to break free but Black pushes him back against the cage.
Onarpos goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Black blocks a body shot from Onarpos.
Onarpos misses with a body punch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Black seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Black prevents Onarpos from breaking the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Onarpos prevents a takedown attempt there.

Onarpos has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Black uses from the top position.
Black might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Black stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Onarpos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Black missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Black postures up.
Black wants to stand but Onarpos has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Onarpos pushes a forearm under Black's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Black is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Antonio Onarpos!
