Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Erhardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Faber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Erhardt!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Erhardt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Erhardt stalks Faber and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Faber's face. Faber staggers backwards, shaken.
Faber just misses with a punch to the body.
Faber tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Erhardt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Erhardt takes one to the chin there.

Faber looking to score a takedown here. Erhardt is defending well but Faber drives through and ends up in Erhardt's guard.
Faber stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Erhardt swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Erhardt controlling the position.
Faber postures up and lands a big shot to Erhardt's brow.
Erhardt seems keen to control Faber's posture.
Faber throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Faber won't allow Erhardt to sweep him here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Erhardt keeping moving, preventing Faber from controlling successfully.

Faber engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Erhardt shoots in and drives through. Faber sprawls well.
Faber misses with a two punch combination.
Faber stuffs the takedown.
Faber throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Erhardt counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Faber fails to pull guard.
Faber is working for takedown but Erhardt is calmly controlling the position for now.
Erhardt leaning against his opponent.

Faber has Erhardt pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Faber pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Erhardt tumbling to the mat - Faber dives into Erhardt's guard.
Erhardt is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Faber is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Erhardt pulls his head out easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Faber is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Erhardt's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Erhardt's back!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Faber is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
Faber misses with punches from the back.
Faber lands a shot to the body.
Faber wants to control but Erhardt manages to buck him off and is now in Faber's guard! Nice work there by Erhardt!
Erhardt wanted to stand there but Faber had control of the position.
Erhardt looks gassed!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Faber is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Erhardt is controlling him.
Faber looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Faber on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Faber tries to get out of the position.

Erhardt stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Faber misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Faber closes the distance and pushes Erhardt back into the cage.
Faber is trying to drag Erhardt to the mat but Erhardt just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Faber. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Erhardt wants to break free but Faber has control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Erhardt drags the fight down to the ground.
Faber makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Erhardt wants to stand up but Faber is controlling him.
Faber postures up and lands a big shot to Erhardt's brow.
Faber is pushing down on Erhardt's leg trying to pass to half guard. Erhardt is fighting to maintain full guard but Faber has managed to sneak the leg through.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Faber looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Erhardt with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Faber moves into full mount! Erhardt won't be happy about that!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Faber with shots to the head and body - Erhardt looks very uncomfortable down there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank Faber dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Faber blocks a head kick by Erhardt.
Faber keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Erhardt.
Erhardt moves in looking to clinch but Faber pushes him off.

Faber decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Faber passes the guard and advances to mount!
Faber is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Faber has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Erhardt takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Erhardt is squirming around, avoiding Faber's attempts to control the action.
Faber lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Erhardt is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Erhardt tries to lock up and control but Faber gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Faber landing strikes, looking to finish!


Erhardt is rocked!
Faber raining down shots from the mount!
Erhardt is still in real trouble! Can Faber finish him?

Faber is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Erhardt to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Erhardt shrugs it off.
Faber drops a big elbow. That's hurt Erhardt! More shots from Faber and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Faber!
Our winner, Frank Faber, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
