The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Misaki throws a nice looking combination but Diaz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Misaki throws a shot to the body.
Misaki throws a looping overhand right but Diaz ducks down to avoid it.
Diaz fails with a takedown attempt.
Diaz looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Diaz misses with a takedown attempt - Misaki sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Misaki looks to land a combination but Diaz avoids it well.
Diaz takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Misaki lands with a big left! Diaz is wobbled badly! Misaki comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Diaz to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
