Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Adams paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Adams throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mir stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mir throws a head kick that misses.
Adams dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mir changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Adams tries to avoid it but Mir manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Adams to the ground. Adams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mir tries to score a power double leg takedown but Adams sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mir somewhat.
Adams lands a slapping body shot.
Mir looks gassed!

Clarence Adams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Mir.

Adams works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Mir takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Adams digs a good body shot into Mir's ribs.
Adams catches Mir with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Frank Mir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mir has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mir there as he acknowledges the shot.
Mir drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Adams scores with a punch to the head.
Adams scores with a sloppy right hand. Mir should have avoided that one.
Adams dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Adams drops Mir with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mir looks back up at him and smiles so Adams waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Mir is rocked!

Adams stuns Mir with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mir is still on wobbly legs! Can Adams finish him?
Adams with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Adams lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Mir - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Adams!
