The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve misses with an uppercut
and Boback counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Steve is looking to stand back up but Boback counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Steve.
Steve wants to stand back up but Boback manages to pass into side control.
Boback has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Steve is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Boback yanks on the arm and Steve is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Boback.
